Liz Yokubison is a former marketing professional who worked at Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions before pursuing her love of writing. Her work has been published in national and regional publications such as SKI, Yoga Journal, Women’s Adventure and Park City magazines. Prior to writing her first book, she was the editor for jans.com and was instrumental in launching their affiliate site, whitepinetouring.com. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from Michigan State University.
Her first book, They’re Ready. Are You? A Parent’s Guide to Surviving the College Transition can be purchased on Amazon. Liz has been featured on Dominique Sachse’s Over 50 & Flourishing podcast, PCTV, Fresh Living, KSL Studio 5, and KPCW. She writes blogs to help parents navigate sending their kids to college on this website, in addition to providing guest blogs for The College Tour, Boston University Parent and Family Programs and HomeWord. A proud mother of twin college graduates, Liz lives in Park City, Utah with her husband, Ron and their sometimes poorly behaved, but still lovable, rescue dog.
